“Hire mercenaries to earn massive loot!”

Big Huge Loot is a 7-day event that specializes in purchasing mercenaries for resources. There are total of 5 steps in the event in order to receive massive loot. This event will start at August 3, 2016 and ends at August 10, 2016.

Historical Description Edit

"The The Thousand were a group of Greek mercenaries hired by the Persian prince Cyrus the Younger to support his bid for the throne. After their employer's death at the Battle of Canaxa, the Greeks found themselves stranded in unknown hostile territory. The Persian satrap Tissaphernes invited their generals in a fest, then imprisoned them and had them decapitated.

The distraught mercenaries elected replacement commanders and set out northward to fight their way back to the Greek cities on the coast. One of the new leaders was the historian Xenophon, who wrote about their journey in the Anabasis or "March Up-Country." The Greeks had to contend with snowstorms, enemy attacks, and the sheer exhaustion of life on the march.

One day as they reached the summit of a mountain, the vanguard raised such a clamor that the real forces thought they were under attack. They soon realized what the men in front were shouting: "The sea, the sea!" Their goal was in sight. Once they reached the Greek towns on the Black Sea, they were able to board ships for home. How effectively can you lead your mercenaries?"
